Knife repair service: Give your damaged blades a second chance

One careless moment, one fall – and it's happened: the knife tip has broken off, a chip has disfigured the edge, or the blade has been damaged in some other way. But that doesn't have to mean the end of your valuable knife! Our specialized knife repair service is dedicated to the professional repair of blade damage to restore the functionality and often also the aesthetics of your favorite knife.

Our expertise in knife repair:

  • Repairing broken blade tips: We form a new, functional tip that matches the original blade geometry.
  • Removal of chippings (notches): Small to medium chippings in the cutting edge can often be removed by precise grinding, removing as little material as possible.
  • Regrinding bent blades (limited): Slight bends can be corrected if necessary – this depends heavily on the material and degree of bending.
  • Blade polishing and finish restoration: To optimize the appearance after repair.

Please note: Not all damage is repairable. In cases of severe material fatigue or very large chipping, even we reach our limits. Please feel free to send us a photo of your damage in advance for an assessment. A subsequent sharpening service is often included in the repair or can be added as an option.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTE:

We charge a flat rate of €17.00 per sharpening package in Germany for the entire shipping process (including the required DHL labels for the outward, return, and reshipment). A sharpening package can contain up to 7 knives/repair orders. If you would like to send more, please add another sharpening package (re-order the service for the corresponding knives) to your shopping cart or contact us in advance for a customized solution.
